Systems Product Industrialization Engineer
Job DescriptionAs a Product Industrialization Engineer at Philips, you will directly contribute to technology that saves lives, improves patient outcomes, and reduces the cost of medicine worldwide. In this role, you will drive design for manufacturability into product requirements and design, while developing and launching new Ultrasound System production lines.
Responsibilities- Partner with R&D teams to optimize new product designs for manufacturability and assembly.
- Provide technical support and root‑cause analysis to resolve production floor issues, including yield challenges and nonconforming product.
- Identify, analyze, and implement cost‑reduction and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
- Collaborate across engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle—planning, design, review, implementation, testing, and delivery—to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Lead creation and maintenance of documentation for production release, including process requirements, DfX, PFMEA, process validation, manufacturing control plans, and work instructions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience applying engineering principles in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Working knowledge of supply chain/manufacturing principles, implementation of Design for Excellence (DfX) inputs, and knowledge of Statistical Methods (Process Capability, SPC, Trend Analysis).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
Onsite role in Reedsville, PA. Team members are required to work in‑person at least 3 days per week.
CompensationThe pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $93,000 to $150,000 per year. Base pay may vary within this range based on experience, skills, and other factors. Additional compensation, such as annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long‑term incentives, may be offered. Employees are eligible for Philips Total Rewards benefits, including PTO, 401(k) up to 7% match, HSA, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
