Position:
Steam Generator Technician – supports headquarters and field implementation of steam generator work, including ECT, tube repair, vessel cover services at customer sites.

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot steam generator field service equipment, using cleaning processes, NDE technology, robotic systems, and computer networks; perform service center support functions including equipment maintenance, decontamination, packing/unpacking, shipment preparation, material handling, and calibration.
• Perform assigned tasks under general supervision with high quality and within qualified procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain attention to detail and document all quality related issues.
• Develop, promote, and exercise team‑building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and other departments.
• Demonstrate good customer sensitivity and customer service skills.
• Develop and maintain a focus on creative problem solving.
• Participate in performance‑based training programs to acquire and maintain certifications and stay current with technology.
• Participate in safety training and acquire skills to work in hazardous environments and operate safety equipment and systems.
• Apply Human Performance Tools, INPO Principles, Industrial Health & Safety, and ALARA principles; observe Westinghouse and customer license requirements.
• Provide observations in the shop; acquire, comprehend, and apply nuclear culture safety requirements.
• Travel extensively (25–50%), maintain “Unescorted Access” status, and work with hazardous materials.

• High school graduate or equivalent; preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related technical field.
• Non‑destructive testing experience desired but not required.
• Knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and logical thinking.
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Estimated base salary: $58,912.77 to $76,603.58 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
