Tes Tex is launching its advanced Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) service and is seeking a motivated PAUT Technician to join the team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides a unique opportunity to specialize in the Tes Tex-developed Ultima PAUT system, contribute to a growing service, and potentially advance into a leadership role as PAUT Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Perform PAUT inspections using the Tes Tex-developed Ultima PAUT system.
- Master the operation, calibration, and data analysis capabilities of the Ultima PAUT system.
- Assist in developing and refining PAUT procedures and workflows for Tes Tex’s service line.
- Analyze and interpret inspection data to produce accurate, detailed reports.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality inspection services tailored to their needs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PAUT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance the PAUT service offering.
- Support and mentor team members as the PAUT service grows.
- Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Level II (minimum).
- Experience with PAUT in industrial applications, particularly in power generation, refining, or petrochemical industries.
- Willingness and ability to learn the Tes Tex-developed Ultima PAUT system.
- Strong technical understanding of PAUT equipment and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and adapt to various working environments.
