We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join an innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and overseeing a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. Your expertise will drive the successful planning and execution of projects related to water treatment systems, commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects pipelines, land surveying, geotechnical engineering, and more.
About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Site Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects across multiple East Coast states. This role offers hands-on exposure from master planning through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare site development plans (grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management).
- Assist with master planning and preparation of construction documents.
- Perform site investigations and analyze surveys, reports, as-builts, and maps.
- Prepare cost estimates for proposed site improvements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, owners, and regulatory agencies.
- Support permitting efforts with local, county, and state authorities.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration, including responding to field issues and RFIs.
- Support overall project management and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- EIT certification preferred.
- 2–5 years of civil site design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with stormwater Management Design.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
