A well-established and growing engineering organization is seeking a Dam Safety Engineer to support critical water infrastructure projects across the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects involving dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures that directly support public safety, environmental stewardship, and long-term infrastructure resilience. Client Details Work on critical infrastructure projects that impact communities and public safety Join a team of experienced engineers in a collaborative and supportive environment Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and career growth opportunities Exposure to high-profile, technically complex projects across multiple regions Description Perform dam safety inspections, evaluations, and risk assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for dams, spillways, and related structures Support design, rehabilitation, and modification projects for aging infrastructure Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions Assist with Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and dam safety compliance programs Collaborate with internal teams (civil, geotechnical, structural engineers) and external stakeholders Participate in field investigations, site visits, and condition assessments Provide technical input on dam safety regulations and industry best practices Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) 3-10+ years of experience in dam safety, water resources, or hydraulic engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
