Engineering Manager
Lead, manage, and develop the engineering team to deliver high quality technical solutions that meet the organization's operational, quality, safety, and cost objectives. The Engineering Manager ensures projects are executed efficiently, supports innovation, and drives continuous improvement within the engineering function, including the reliable and efficient operation of plant utilities.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering technical excellence and high performance.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to ensure they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
Technical Oversight:
Provide expert technical guidance and ensure engineering standards, processes, and best practices are followed.
Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, utilities, and other departments to support plant operations and strategic projects.
Plant Utilities Management:
Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant utilities and infrastructure, including but not limited to steam and boiler systems, compressed air, electrical distribution, water supply and wastewater systems, HVAC, and building services. Optimize utilities performance, energy efficiency, availability, and operating costs, while ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to improve equipment performance, reliability, utilities efficiency, and energy consumption, supporting sustainability and operational excellence goals.
Compliance:
Ensure all engineering and utilities activities comply with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the engineering department's operational and capital expenditure budgets, including maintenance, CAPEX projects, and utilities related costs.
Talent Development:
Identify training needs, support career development, and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Problem Solving:
Lead root cause analysis for technical and utilities related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
Innovation:
Promote adoption of new technologies, automation, digitalization, and energy efficient solutions to enhance operational and utilities performance.
