Plumbing Design Manager

We're looking for a passionate, experienced Plumbing Design Manager to lead our plumbing team and play a key role across the full design lifecycle — from preliminary assessments and concept creation through drawing and specification production. You'll leverage your technical expertise on large pharmaceutical projects while nurturing your team's growth, driving innovation, and championing safety and excellence every step of the way.

• Lead and manage a team of Plumbing Designers and Engineers — nurturing their purpose and guiding their professional growth
• Participate in the full design process — preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production
• Perform plumbing design assignments for large pharmaceutical projects
• Provide technical reviews of team deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality
• Drive department initiatives focused on standardization and workflow innovation
• Serve as a point of accessibility for customers and vendors throughout the design process
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of your team on every project

• Technical or Associate degree in plumbing/mechanical from an accredited institution — or equivalent years of experience
• 15+ years of experience in a MEP design environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of plumbing systems
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or other plumbing design software
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, manage time, and deliver accurate designs within budget
• Must be located near or willing to commute to one of the four office locations

• Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Pharmaceutical or industrial design experience
• Forward-thinking mindset with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas
