Senior Electrical Engineer

Schedule:

Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

• Provide technical leadership for new applications, aftermarket opportunities, and design upgrades
• Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting of motors, generators, and related equipment
• Develop and review specifications for reverse-engineered components and replacement parts
• Support customer-facing teams with solutions involving motors, couplings, gear drives, and related systems
• Lead problem-solving efforts and technical investigations
• Support development of new technologies and intellectual property initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures, and quality requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of electrical engineering experience
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong experience with AC and DC motors, generators, motor-generator sets, and motor controls
• Experience performing failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, NEMA, and EASA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with ERP systems;
  Epicor experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Power generation industry experience
• Nuclear or fossil power generation applications
• Design, testing, manufacturing, and application support of rotating electrical equipment
• Engineering support for aftermarket services, upgrades, and reverse engineering projects
