Aqua is seeking an Engineering student co‑op to work with a talented team on an extremely diverse set of tasks within Engineering. You will have the chance to spearhead your own projects after shadowing and learning first hand from experienced Engineers. This is an opportunity to experience the full scope of a Engineering Generalist’s day‑to‑day tasks, from operations and maintenance to project execution.

• Assisting Manager of Mechanical/Electrical/Construction in conducting construction job progress meetings and inspections
• Resolving construction, operating, and maintenance issues at various facilities
• Performing design calculations
• Conducting engineering consultant request-for-proposal and construction contractor bid processes
• Assisting the Superintendent of Mechanical & Electrical in managing corrective and preventative maintenance work orders on the Company’s Maintenance Connection (MC) program
• Performing data entry into the company’s MC program
• Traveling to various production facilities to obtain equipment specifications
• General administrative duties and record keeping

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the five (5) counties surrounding Philadelphia
• Ability to work independently to complete assignments
• Ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing
• Knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering and calculations
• Willingness to occasionally work in a drinking water plant and construction environment
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
