Job Role s And Responsibilities

Lead sanitary and municipal engineering projects from planning through construction.

Prepare feasibility studies, engineering reports, and technical analyses.

Design wastewater collection systems, pump stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Perform hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and equipment sizing.

Prepare construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.

Coordinate environmental permitting with regulatory agencies.

Manage public bidding processes and provide construction administration.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design technicians.

Communicate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required (or ability to obtain Pennsylvania licensure through reciprocity).

5-10 years of sanitary and municipal engineering experience.

Experience with wastewater collection systems, pump stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Knowledge of Pennsylvania environmental regulations and permitting.

Experience with erosion & sediment control and stormwater BMPs.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPA-SWMM, StormCAD, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

Experience preparing technical specifications and administering public bidding projects.

Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
