Product Stewardship Specialist

A global specialty chemicals company is seeking a Product Stewardship Specialist to support chemical regulatory compliance, product safety, and global market requirements across the Americas. This role is ideal for someone with experience in chemical manufacturing, polymers, or specialty materials who enjoys working cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and regulatory teams to ensure products meet evolving regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage product stewardship activities for new and existing chemical products.
  • Support regulatory submissions including TSCA PMNs, Low Volume Exemptions (LVEs), Polymer Exemptions, and DSL/NDSL notifications.
  • Review raw materials and finished products for regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product safety documentation.
  • Support global chemical compliance requirements including TSCA import/export regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to internal teams.
  • Respond to customer regulatory inquiries and provide product compliance guidance.
  • Support product safety training and stewardship initiatives across the organization.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, commercial, and global regulatory teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Stewardship, Chemical Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, or Regulatory Compliance within the chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of TSCA and chemical regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with polymer chemistry, specialty chemicals, or advanced materials required.
  • Experience with SDS authoring/management and chemical hazard communication.
  • FDA Food Contact Notification (FCN) experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and commercial teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
