Infrastructure Design Coordinator

Inabia is seeking an Infrastructure Design Coordinator to support space optimization and utilization initiatives by developing and modifying floor plans for building systems including A/V, video conferencing, IoT devices, and network infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of technical design and cross-functional coordination, serving as a key liaison between Workplace Solutions management, government real estate bureaus, and internal technology teams. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of building infrastructure and construction processes to help deliver effective, well-planned workspace solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify floor plans for building A/V systems, video conferencing equipment, IoT devices, and network drops
• Identify problems and propose solutions within Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP) designs
• Attend and actively contribute to meetings focused on space design and planning
• Serve as liaison to Workplace Solutions management throughout project life cycles
• Use Bluebeam Revu and other design software to produce, review, and manage infrastructure drawings
• Coordinate with the Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate and/or Capital Programs on SOUP projects
• Work with vendors, lessors, and contractors involved in space planning and build-out efforts
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams to align infrastructure designs with technical requirements

Key Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and modifying floor plans for AV, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure
• Strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design or space-planning software
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose actionable solutions within space planning designs
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to serve effectively as an organizational liaison
• Experience collaborating with real estate teams, contractors, vendors, and government agencies
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience on government or public-sector space optimization projects
• Familiarity with capital programs processes and real estate bureau workflows
