Duties
Serve as a Branch Chief for the Directorate of Engineering and Cyber responsible for supporting the organization's mission of engineering design, development, manufacturing, testing, technical manual development.
Manage personnel who develop cost estimates, complete electrical and mechanical system designs, computer-aided engineering drawings and models to support manufacturing.
Assign work to employees based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Provides technical oversight; develops performance plans and rates employees.
Manage schedules for completion through the use of engineering management tool software, and uses design and manufacturing engineering experience and technical knowledge to provide assistance to subordinate staff in overcoming problems.
Research technical data, performs experimental tests, and advise field users on recommended solutions.
Market branch's capabilities to obtain new workload. Stays abreast of advancements in technology, equipment, automation, and management to apply to the branch when applicable.
