Our rapidly growing technology company is hiring! For over two decades, Advanced Powder Products, Inc. (APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM® and Printalloy® position APP as the first choice for some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the country.

We design, engineer, and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients' medical devices, hand tools, defense, and sporting goods.

Job Characteristics:

• Strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all engineering areas
• Requires extensive technical knowledge in CAD based product design and engineering design methods

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering programs across various teams and disciplines
• Define program scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics
• Oversee tooling design and development, ensuring alignment with APP standards and customer requirements
• Support applications engineering in translating customer needs into technical solutions and managing pre/post-sales support
• Guide program managers in executing customer programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality
• Monitor project and tooling progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and technical excellence
• Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and best practices
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on team performance, project status, and strategic initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Oversee the creation and management of all new product launch timelines
• Ensure weekly customer reporting is accurate and sent on time
• Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff
• Establish policies, procedures, and standards for new product launches
• Use program management in ERP to help facilitate new product launches
• Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or program management within a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in project management
• Able to lead technical teams to solve complex problems
