Mechanical Engineer with Security Clearance

Location: Tomstown

Mechanical Engineer
• Design new products and support product improvements, revisions, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Design and document production fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing support equipment.
• Utilize CAD software to develop 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as Creo, Solid Works, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare concept sketches, layouts, prototypes, and technical documentation as required.
• Participate in design reviews, engineering evaluations, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with engineering analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA), tolerance studies, and system optimization.
• Support product testing, troubleshooting, validation, and implementation efforts. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSMET, BSEMET, or related engineering discipline).
• 0-5 years of mechanical engineering experience, including recent graduates.
• General knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design practices, and manufacturing processes. Pluses
• Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D drafting software a plus.
• Exposure to finite element analysis (FEA) tools and engineering calculations a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude, including assembly, fabrication, troubleshooting, or equipment maintenance.
