Electrical Engineer

Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical Engineer to support reliable, sustainable power generation and distribution. In this role, you will design, analyze, and maintain plant and grid-connected electrical systems, including switch gear, transformers, protection schemes, and control systems. You'll prepare drawings, studies, and technical reports; support commissioning, testing, and root-cause analysis; and partner with operations and project teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical systems for power generation and distribution assets
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and company standards
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams on reliability and efficiency improvements
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation for projects and audits
• Provide field engineering support and root-cause analysis for equipment issues
• Contribute to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support planning and execution of capital and maintenance projects within scope, budget, and schedule
