Consultant Engineer

FM is seeking a Consultant Engineer I to support client-focused engineering projects. In this entry-level role, you will assist senior engineers with technical analyses, basic design reviews, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing calculations and drawings, supporting field inspections, collecting and interpreting data, and helping troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow industry and company standards, and contribute to high-quality deliverables while developing your technical and consulting skills.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering and early hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in delivering consulting projects for FM clients
• Perform technical analyses, calculations, and basic designs to meet project requirements
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and documentation using CAD and office tools
• Participate in testing, inspections, and data collection at client or project sites
• Assist in identifying technical issues, supporting root cause analysis, and proposing solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Follow company and industry standards, safety practices, and quality procedures
• Manage assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables with guidance from senior staff
