Job Title:
Site Project Manager Civil & MEP Engineering
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the project execution for food processing facility, with strong hands-on experience in Civil and MEP execution, machinery installation, commissioning, contractor management and project planning.
Key Responsibilities:Project Execution
- Lead site execution of civil, MEP, utilities, and process equipment installation activities.
- Supervise foundations, structures, buildings, roads, drainage, underground utilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other plant services.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and ensure proper execution at site.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, contractors, vendors, and OEMs to resolve site issues.
- Lead and coordinate process machinery and equipment installation.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers/OEMs during installation, trials, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure equipment installation is completed as per OEM requirements and approved engineering documents.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, execution plans, and progress trackers using MS Project.
- Prepare project status and progress reports and highlight risks, delays, and required corrective actions.
- Manage civil, MEP, mechanical and equipment installation contractors.
- Coordinate with vendors/OEMs and support technical and commercial evaluation of contractor proposals.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygienic design, and project quality requirements.
- Ensure proper inspection, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of project execution experience in the food processing /FMCG industry.
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects is preferred.
Competencies:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Civil & MEP project execution.
- Experience in process and packaging equipment installation.
- Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
