• Follow all recipes and control procedures.
• Maintain attendance and performance records.
• Keep food costs within budget.
• Control portion sizes, minimize waste, and present menu items as specified.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary area per Serv Safe and state regulations.
• Prepare weekly schedules and manage labor costs.
• Train and supervise cooks to adhere to policies and standards.
• Maintain positive guest relations.
• Coordinate with culinary supervisors and managers for efficient service.
• Perform culinary duties as needed.
• Manage daily cash control.
• Operate POS systems when required.

• High School Diploma/GED;
  Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of menu planning, soups, sauces, meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Understanding of food and labor costs.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints.
• Basic math skills.
• Problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Basic computer skills and POS operation.

The physical demands include walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs., and climbing heights over 6 feet. Reasonable accommodations will be made for disabilities.
