Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities- Makes daily and weekly inspections of safety conditions in the complex and communicates necessary actions to departments to support profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. Monitor life safety equipment in the Fire Command Center.
- Conducts inspections, per procedures, to ensure equipment (e.g., smoke detectors and fire extinguishers) is in proper working order.
- Monitors the main employee/service entrance to ensure only individuals with appropriate authorization or credentials enter the back of the house area.
- Issues temporary access credentials to vendors and other visitors as needed.
- Reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and blocked egress corridors. Keeps accurate daily logs of alarms in the Fire Command Center.
- Keeps daily logs of notifications for abatement of fire and safety hazards.
- Maintains key management logs for the complex.
- Performs duties to comply with PGCB mandated requirements, including gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transporting locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
- Assists as a Security Officer when necessary.
- High School Diploma/GED; or six months to one year of experience working with a life safety monitoring system.
- Must be dependable and display sound judgment.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with customers and employees.
- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a thorough understanding and knowledge of basic fire fighting techniques (use of a fire extinguisher).
- With care and professionalism, must interact with guests and employees in a calm manner during a fire emergency.

- Bending and lifting 10% of the time.

Salary: STARTING SALARY $17.00 per hour
