Sportsbook Representative - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Writes, verifies, and makes payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable jurisdictional gaming statutes and regulations.
• Maintains a cash bank for the shift; accepts payment and makes correct change when necessary.
• Stocks Sports Book Writer/Cashier stations with supplies; keeps stations neat and clean.
• Writes sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner.
• Makes payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verifies tickets and payoffs.
• Maintains and reconciles bank for the assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Explains wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, to guests.
• Provides information and assistance to customers in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure guest service; offers information on activities and directs guests for further information as necessary.
• Creates and enters player tracking cards.
• Notifies management of escalated or prevalent guest issues and any suspicious activity.
• Performs other job-related duties as requested.

• High School Diploma/GED; 6 months of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Starting salary: $10.25 per hour, plus tips. Base salary is one component of a competitive Total Rewards package, which may include day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and an annual performance bonus.
