Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes who values accuracy, urgency, and collaboration.

• Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, including billing, invoice processing, and data entry

• Classify, assemble, analyze, and prepare reports from financial data

• Assist with payroll-related billing and centralized business operations as needed

• Track departmental issues and support remediation efforts

• Assist the supervisor and team with administrative tasks and special projects

• Participate in ad-hoc projects focused on process improvement

• Help maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Deliver superior internal and external customer service while maintaining a high level of confidentiality

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional Accounts Payable or accounting environment

• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

• Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• High level of energy, attention to detail, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic

• Experience in a centralized billing or shared services environment

• Strong overall computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
