Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations in the transport industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate effectively with various departments.

Responsibilities:

- Excel HEAVY - heavy in VHX Lookups, editing Macros

- Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls.

- Perform detailed analysis of revenue, expenses, and wages to support financial decision-making.

- Assist in the preparation and posting of month-end journal entries.

- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare detailed reconciliations.

- Support accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and AR reconciliations.

- Collaborate with team members to gather data and produce accurate financial reports.

- Analyze financial records to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.

- Aid in the development and preparation of annual budgets.

- Work closely with field terminal staff, operations personnel, and the finance team to ensure seamless data integration.

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

- Proficiency in key accounting functions, including general ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate financial insights clearly.
