Senior Accounting Associate

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, and budgeting activities within a growing organization.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Process payroll, payroll tax filings, and year-end reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analyses for leadership and board review
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities
• Track grant funding, restricted and unrestricted funds, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
• Support annual audits and maintain compliance with financial policies and nonprofit regulations
• Partner with leadership on operational, financial, and strategic initiatives
• Maintain vendor records, support benefits administration, and assist with special projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and payroll processing
• Knowledge of budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis
• Experience with grant accounting, restricted funds, or nonprofit accounting preferred
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
