LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing organization to identify a Controller to join their leadership team. This position will oversee daily accounting operations, lead a small team, and play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and mentor a team of 4+ accounting professionals

* Provide detailed financial reporting and insights to senior leadership

* Analyze financial data to support business decisions and improve performance

* Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures

* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and corrective actions

* Oversee commission calculations and reporting

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, cash receipts, collections, payroll preparation, journal entries, and general ledger

* Ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations and oversight of sales and use tax compliance

* Oversee tax-related processes including 1099s and sales/use tax accruals

* Partner with executive leadership to establish financial benchmarks and reporting standards

* Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and evolving accounting standards

* Develop and enhance accounting policies, workflows, and operational efficiencies

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

* CPA strongly preferred

* 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience

* 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience

* Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent communication and leadership skills
