Job Overview
The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Solutions team to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for alternative investment funds.
Responsibilities- Act as the liaison between Operations, Solutions, Product, and Development teams to identify, develop, and implement product and technology solutions to increase operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and mitigate operational risk.
- Document and implement business and functional product requirements.
- Educate operations teams on SEI products and solutions.
- Maintain a general understanding of our various businesses, client businesses, and the broader financial services industry.
- Apply creative problem‑solving skills to address complex challenges and improve processes.
- Participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify and streamline processes across the division.
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role.
- Experience with alternative investment accounting systems.
- Experience with Advent Geneva or similar investment accounting platforms is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email and phone interactions with internal clients.
- Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivation, organization, and ability to complete multiple deliverables promptly without sacrificing quality.
- Drive to broaden knowledge of the financial services industry and apply new concepts to daily work.
- Attention to detail to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs.
- Positivity, collegial approach, and strong teamwork.
- Curiosity and critical thinking to identify and implement efficient solutions.
