Fund Accountant, Alternative Investment Funds; Hybrid

Job Overview

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing and seeks new members for our Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. As a Fund Accountant, you will act as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers and serve as the official record keeper for the funds.

• Price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources.
• Perform reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports.
• Communicate transactions associated with the fund(s) and support internal and external clients to provide accurate accounting packages.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform due‑diligence to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
• Correspond with external investment managers regarding day‑to‑day fund inquiries, including fee payments, cash position breaks, and reconciliations.
• Engage clients and provide quality service.

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Self‑motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills.
