Job Summary
As part of the Branch Banking team, the Financial Center Banker will acquire an in-depth knowledge of Northwest products and services to provide financial options to clients through a consultative approach while expanding the banking relationship. The Financial Center Banker connects customers with Northwest products and services through opening accounts, identifies customer financial needs, and connects customers to other Northwest financial experts to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
EssentialFunctions
- Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed customer satisfaction, product sales, and financial wellness targets. - Financial Needs Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and offer personalized recommendations. - Operational Soundness:
Maintain compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures. - Leadership Portraying the Northwest Bank Culture:
Deliver exceptional service and turn negative experiences into positive ones. - Customer Engagement:
Initiate proactive conversations to build rapport and understand financial objectives. - Relationship Building:
Build long‑term relationships and proactively offer support and guidance. - Compliance and Regulations:
Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, protecting customer information. - Navigate Microsoft Office and department‑specific software to maximize technology tools.
- Work as part of a team and with on‑site equipment.
- Adhere to all security and dual‑control processes, daily branch tasks, and branch opening and closing duties as needed.
- Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management.
- Establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in problem solving and decision making.
- Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely, whether orally or in writing.
- Listen actively to achieve understanding and facilitate the exchange of ideas.
- Establish courses of action for achieving goals and use tracking systems to monitor work progress.
- Make sound decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes and exercise good judgment in gray areas.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Work Experience:
1 year banking and/or retail experience preferred; sales and customer service experience preferred.
