Job Summary

Registered Client Service Associate at Raymond James supporting Financial Advisors and clients with high‑touch administrative tasks and client service.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as first point of contact for high volume daily interactions (inquiries, quotes, scheduling) via phone, email, in‑person, virtual, and mail.
  • Onboard new clients, open client accounts, research client and security information using internal database and other technologies.
  • Ensure client information and documentation is current with firm and industry requirements, rules and regulations.
  • Process and monitor asset transfers to confirm assets and cost basis received.
  • Monitor available cash and run weekly cash and cash‑equivalent reports; contact clients with investment opportunities.
  • Review, assess, and respond to all corporate action items and client account alerts.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets and other materials for client meetings.
  • Input orders and rebalance portfolios on behalf of the Financial Advisors.
  • Create and maintain records and files using Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Assist Financial Advisors with marketing efforts including seminars and other client‑facing events.
  • Participate in training and professional development to remain current on firm and industry policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 7–12 months of general experience or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
  • One (1) or more years of securities industry or related work experience preferred.
  • SIE required;
    Series 7 required;
    Series 63, 65 and/or 66 as required by state.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple platforms (phone, email, in‑person, virtual).
  • Ability to organize, manage, and track detailed tasks with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to develop spreadsheets for reporting.
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software or similar contact‑management system.
  • Knowledge of investment concepts, securities industry products, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and required software applications.
