Finance Project Manager
The Finance Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing finance-related projects that support the organization’s financial strategy and operational goals. This role partners closely with finance leadership, accounting teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with financial compliance and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage finance-related projects such as system implementations, process improvements, financial reporting initiatives, and regulatory compliance projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with finance leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, IT, and operations.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Track project budgets and ensure efficient use of financial and organizational resources.
- Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency.
- Support change management efforts related to finance system implementations or process changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within finance, accounting, or financial systems environments.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and project management tools.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Project management certification such as PMP.
- Work experience utilizing SAP for daily responsibilities.
- Prior use of operational systems such as EPM, VFT, Truckmate.
- CPA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Project planning and execution.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $92,000- $122,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
