Position: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance

Duties As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0501-09, you will be responsible to have extensive knowledge of all pay operations that are handled by the Pay and Exam branch. Resolve the most difficult pay problems including extensive research, review, and application of prior pay and tax laws, regulations, and entitlements. Apply pay and tax laws, regulations, directives, and policies to all cases.

Must have the ability to effectively communicate with different levels within the State's command and with external agencies, to include Financial Services and National Guard Bureau. Ensure work is processed in accordance with established guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible to assist in the training and development of the Financial Services Technicians assigned to the section. Perform other duties as assigned.

All series personnel's' performance levels are validated at the next higher level before being eligible for promotion consideration to the GS-0501 graded-position and must have a fundamental working experiences with validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. Application must indicate at least three months of basic finance program training or competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures.
