Senior Specialist, Reconciliation

BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist, Reconciliation to support complex investment and custody operations. In this role, you will own end-to-end cash and position reconciliations, investigate and resolve breaks, and strengthen controls across global portfolios. You will partner with trading, operations, and technology teams to ensure data accuracy, mitigate risk, and support regulatory and client reporting. Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across multiple financial products and accounts
• Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and aging items within established SLAs
• Collaborate with operations, trading, and custodial teams to validate data and resolve issues
• Escalate risk or control issues and contribute to remediation plans and process improvements
• Produce reconciliations reports and metrics for internal stakeholders and audits
• Support control testing, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and internal policies
• Contribute to automation, data quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in reconciliation and risk management
