Financial Services Consultant - Hybrid Work Schedule

Position Summary

Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU) is committed to providing exceptional financial services and a positive member experience. This hybrid position offers a balance of on‑site collaboration and remote flexibility.

The Financial Services Consultant is responsible for building and strengthening member relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate credit union products and services. This position works closely with Deposit and Lending Services, the Call Center, Marketing, and Business Development to support member growth and engagement.

The Financial Services Consultant actively promotes UECU products and services, conducts member outreach activities, and supports strategic sales initiatives. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to exceptional member service, and the ability to effectively manage inquiries received through phone, email, online channels, and in‑person interactions. The position also ensures compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting UECU's Vision, Purpose, and Values.

Successful candidates will possess strong sales aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting member relationships.

This position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years of customer service experience involving face‑to‑face and/or telephone interactions, and familiarity with credit unions or the financial services industry. Strong Microsoft Office skills, customer service abilities, and knowledge of credit union products and services are preferred.
