Job Overview
The Mortgage Banking Advisor will provide administrative and sales support to a team of Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs), facilitating communications between MLOs and customers and assisting with loan originations.
Responsibilities- Work with customers to set expectations around appointments, loan statuses, rate inquiries, and other information.
- Assist loan officers with loan originations.
- Confirm appointments and review documents with customers at the time of applications to ensure efficiency.
- Provide marketing support to MLOs and act as a liaison between customers and MLOs.
- Attend in-person loan closings at customers' homes or places of business and be willing to travel within Philadelphia, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
- Previous sales and customer service experience.
- Ability to travel to different bank and customer locations for loan closings.
- Registration or ability to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- Preferred: experience in residential mortgage originations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly, independently and make decisions within authority limits.
Salary Range: $44,146
In addition to a base salary, the role is eligible to earn commissions based on individual production. Base pay may vary with experience, skills and location.
