Utilities Employees Credit Union - UECU Financial Services Consultant - Hybrid Work Schedule Position Summary

Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU) is seeking a Financial Services Consultant to support members through consumer loan and mortgage application conversations while delivering a positive, relationship-focused member experience. This hybrid role offers a balance of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

This position helps members identify borrowing needs, understand available consumer and mortgage options, begin the application process, and gather required information or documentation. The role also partners with Lending Services, Deposit Services, the Call Center, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure timely follow-up and a smooth member experience.

Responsibilities include responding to member inquiries by phone, email, online channels, and in person; promoting appropriate UECU products and services; conducting outreach; supporting application-related next steps; and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of customer service experience. Credit union, financial services, consumer lending, mortgage application, or loan-processing experience is preferred, along with strong communication, sales, member service, and Microsoft Office skills.
