The Position

The Aging Case Aide 1 position with the Pike County Area Agency on Aging offers a meaningful way to support seniors in your community. This position focuses on assisting seniors with assessments, referrals, and access to important community resources. As an Aging Case Aide 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Phone Support: Answer agency calls and relay messages clearly
• Data Entry: Record information and referrals into the SAMS database
• Assessment Work: Complete NAT-E assessments for seniors receiving home delivered meals
• Information Sharing: Provide updates to the Director and communicate observations to supervisors
• Documentation Tasks: Enter referrals, assessments, and care planning details into databases
• Clerical Duties: Perform typing, copying, faxing, and other basic office tasks

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Part-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of public contact work, which involved obtaining or providing information; or
• Any equivalent of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

• Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Pike County. If no eligible candidates who live within Pike County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
