Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

Status: Full or Part Time

Shift: Daylight with 1 Evening/week, and 1 Saturday/month

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?
  • Checks email and other appropriate resources daily for updated activity schedule/resident information and designs special events signs, announcements, and weekly schedule of lifestyle activities and posts them on bulletin boards.
  • Plans and activities of the day, holidays and special events, purchases/orders necessary supplies, sets up activity areas, and cleans up area following activity.
  • Invites residents to scheduled activities, including bus trips out of the facility, and escorts interested residents, if necessary.
  • Conducts the activities scheduled each day for resident groups, one to one activities for individual residents and spontaneous events in a manner that promotes culture change and a home-like atmosphere.
  • Charts resident information as it pertains to activities using the approved documentation method.
  • Communicates, as needed, with staff in other departments to coordinate their involvement in activities and trips.
  • Arranges with outside vendors to entertain or conduct programs with residents.
What do I need for this role with Redstone?
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with aging population preferred.
