Position: Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District
Location: New Philadelphia

Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the PA-NJ District, responsible for leading a specialty sales team within neuroscience/psychiatry to achieve district performance goals and develop key customer relationships.

Qualifications
  • Required:

    Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
Skills
  • Excellent people management/supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives, and to lead and mentor the team.
  • Highly clinical, patient-centric and tactical with excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated and able to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Dynamic; high-impact individual with effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree;
    Advanced degree a plus.
