** Job Description*
* Our US Ophthalmology team is committed to transforming the lives of patients living with diabetic macular edema (DME) and neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) with a portfolio of two products in the pipeline. We aspire to achieve this through relentless commitment to patients, innovation, ensuring access to life-changing therapies, and collaborating with healthcare systems, governments, and payers to make treatments available to those who need them most.
Our focus is on the patients, scientific rigor and flawless execution-bringing breakthrough therapies to patients who need them.
This role will report to the US Marketing Leader for US Ophthalmology and will be accountable for leading the overall strategy development and execution directed to patients with DME and nAMD, including identifying the key strategic lever along the patient journey where our company can have a positive impact and support patient education needs to start and stay on their injections.
Ideally, the candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the US market including commercial and regulatory requirements, experience in developing marketing strategy, and leading teams to execute against the strategy.

* Primary Responsibilities:
*
* + Identify key strategic levers across different stages of patient journey (screening, diagnosis, treatment share decision making, initiation process, ongoing management and adherence) and execute the strategies in collaboration with other key stakeholders (HCP CAT, Payer CAT, Field Sales, and Patient Experience Lead, etc)
+ Lead HCC Customer Agile Team within the US Ophthalmology Marketing team to drive strategy development/refinement and all tactical execution within the agile ways of working
+ Ensure launch readiness for the US Ophthalmology portfolio for all key work streams that target patients living with DME and nAMD
+ Manage AOR, overall budget and maximize investments across HCC work streams
+ Participate in the marketing leadership team to drive prioritization, champion organizational changes such as transition to the content hub and review model, and continuously improve our agile ways of working
+ Manage a team of HCC marketers to support their career development

Bachelor's Degree

Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, PhD, Pharm
D)
** Required Experience & Skills*
* + Industry Expertise:
Minimum 6+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech experiences. Ophthalmology, retina, or specialty biologics preferred.

Strong people leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a team
+ Strategic & Innovative Thinking:
Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and leverage innovation for impact.

Exceptional ability to work across various functional teams.

Launch experiences preferred
+ Experiences in patient activation and patient adherence preferred
