At Accela Healthcare, we believe life should be celebrated every day—and that includes the lives of our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Aide to join our team full-time and bring joy, engagement, and creativity to our residents’ daily experience.
What You’ll DoAssist in planning, organizing, and leading group and individual activities for residents.
Encourage participation to promote socialization, physical movement, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
Help set up, run, and clean up after activities and events.
Provide companionship and one-on-one support to residents who may not participate in group programs.
Assist with documenting participation and feedback for activity programs.
Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and care team to ensure activities are inclusive and meaningful.
Previous experience in a recreational, activities, or caregiving role (preferred, but not required).
Creativity, energy, and a positive attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Genuine compassion for the elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
