Job Title: Registered Nurse - Step Down / PCU / IMC
Location: Honesdale, PA
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend & Holidays
Pay: $50/hr - $65/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Step Down / PCU / IMC for an exciting Contract job in Honesdale, PA.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to Step Down, PCU, and IMC patients.
  • Monitor and assess high-acuity patient conditions and respond to changes.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced nursing interventions.
  • Interpret and respond to cardiac and respiratory monitoring data.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR.
  • Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards.
  • Support emergency response and rapid clinical escalation when needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Prior experience in PCU, Step Down, or Med-Surg.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Current NIHSS Certification.
  • Strong critical care and acute care nursing experience.
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Competency in fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Meditech EMR.
  • Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry experience.
  • Experience caring for intermediate care and progressive care patients.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
