At Mon Valley Care Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. As a member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our PRN team, providing weekend support to our residents.

Hours:
4 to 5 hours over the weekend, easily fitting your schedule - Supportive Environment: Work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide direct patient care and occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility
- Safely execute and assist with patient transfers and positioning
- Deliver impactful education and training to facility staff, family members, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately document resident progress and treatments in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current, unrestricted COTA license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective staff and family education
- Ability to safely perform patient transfers and physical components of the role
