The SCI PT Supervisor manages the physical therapy team for the spinal cord injury program.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in hiring decisions, staff development, and performance reviews.
• Managing day-to-day operations and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members for program development.
• Participating in the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program.
• Providing patient care commensurate with operational needs of the unit/service line.
• Serving as a mentor and supervisor for staff at all levels.
• Collaborating with the Therapy Manager for staff development and disciplinary processes.
• Conducting interview processes for PTs and program positions.
• Orienting and onboarding new staff.
• Preparing performance appraisals for therapists, assistants, and aides.
• Ensuring compliance with accreditation and certification standards, and implementing quality assurance and program evaluation systems.
• Supporting implementation and coordination of projects and process improvement initiatives for the Spinal Cord Program.
• Attending conferences and maintaining the department's knowledge of changes and updates.
• Developing and implementing best practices for SCI rehabilitation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Minimum 6 years of clinical experience with supervisory experience required.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification via American Heart Association.
