Athletic Trainer, Men's Basketball

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination and delivery of comprehensive athletic training and sports medicine services for assigned student athletes.
• Scheduling, organization, and completion of onboarding and exit physicals.
• Attend (and transport) student athletes to medical appointments when medically necessary.
• Provide day‑to‑day medical care, practice and event coverage, and travel to away contests.
• Serve as member of the Sports Performance Team for collaborative development and implementation of comprehensive injury prevention, return‑to‑play, and performance enhancement programs.
• Document proper medical records in accordance with all governmental and university guidelines.
• Assist with policy and procedure development and updates.
• Assist with maintaining athletic training facility and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings and on departmental committees or working groups as requested.
• Supervise athletic training students as a preceptor as assigned.
• Mentor other staff members and assist with cross coverage when needed or defined by supervisor.
• Physical effort required for practice/game preparation and during emergency care management and rehabilitation.
• Other duties as assigned.

  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification — American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization;
  Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification — American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization

, this position requires:

• 3+ years of relevant experience

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks:

This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 – $74,000.00. Salary Structure –
