LAUNDRY AIDE

Job Summary:

Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Christiana, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents. This is a full-time position with a schedule, including every other weekend. Schedule:

• First Shift: 6am-2pm

• Second Shift: 2pm-10pm

• Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident clothes and linens

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment

• Handle resident personal belongings with care and respect, adhering to confidentiality guidelines

• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning rooms and common areas

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience working in a healthcare setting or with seniors preferred, but willing to train

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work every other weekend and flexible schedule as needed
