Home Care Association of America - - Responsibilities:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (including personal hygiene, ambulation/transfers, eating, dressing);
Accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments;
Performs housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, laundry, dishes, bed linens, bathroom);
Performs patient-specific activities taught by a nurse (e.g., medication reminders, ROM exercises, special diets);
Provides dementia and incontinence care as needed
