Limited Casual Food Service Liaison – UPMC Northwest
Food Service Liaison position to support the Dietary and Cafeteria department.
This position will work varying shifts between 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM. It will work every other weekend and on holidays. No travel is required.
Responsibilities- Communicates patient concerns or issues to supervisor or clinical staff in a timely fashion.
- Processes all phone calls using appropriate telephone skills, following up on issues promptly to resolution.
- Processes all nutrition care orders according to established procedures accurately and timely.
- Troubleshoots interface issues with diet orders, resolves them, and reports software and printer problems to the appropriate IS individual or group promptly.
- Prepares tray tickets for food assembly according to workflow procedures in the operation.
- Assists patients with menu planning in accordance with diet orders in a helpful, friendly manner.
- Maintains record-keeping and prepares reports as assigned.
Work permit required if under 18 years old.
