Drug & Alcohol Prevention Specialist Trainee
Located in Honesdale, PA, Wayne County Drug & Alcohol is seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist Trainee. Seasonal, Part-Time employment. Employee works during school year, occasionally during other times, as needed. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Start time and hours depend on school schedule. Often irregular hours, including evenings. Employee may have overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training. Telework:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation. A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
