Job Title
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) performs therapeutic procedures to include oxygen and other medical gas therapy/ administration administration of aerosolized medications through established modalities implements and monitors established departmental protocols and/or organizational clinical care maps patient assessment (chest auscultation oximetry pulse respiration's blood pressure clinical and subjective observations) diagnostic procedures (arterial puncture pulmonary function testing endtidal CO2 monitoring ECG) CPAP and NPPV ventilator support and management.
Provide basic patient/family education relative to respiratory disease processes interventions and outcomes to hospitalized and outpatient
High School diploma or equivalent Completion of a program in Respiratory Therapy Technology or a Respiratory program NY State Respiratory Therapy Technician license required
The pay range for this position is 26.27 - 41.61
