Job SummaryAssist and support instructors, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of Upper Limb Prosthetics course. This is a support role to the course coordinator. The support role assists in the safety of the students during fabrication and patient model evaluation and fittings. (in-person)
Essential Functions- Assist in Labs with Patient Models
- Assist in modification and fabrication labs
- Monitor patient models and students’ safety in labs
- Support instructions, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion Monitor and record student participation on the Discussion Board.
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
- Experience in Upper Limb Prosthetics patient care
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Fabrication techniques
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Salus at Drexel University campus (Elkins Park, PA) In-Person
